Aisha Jamila is an American actor who is most well known for her roles on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003, she has shown her acting versatility by performing outstandingly in TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. Anna's character in Assault on Precinct 13 was her first big break. However, it was her role as Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's rights) on the biographical All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Hind also received high praises for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's dramatic period drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the show will be renewed for another season. Hind recently wrapped up shooting on the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is scheduled to be released around the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj is who was an Army Scientist, who passed away on March 18 2017 as well as her mother Vrinda have both been homemakers. Aditya Rao is employed as a merchant navy engineer, is her older sibling. The brother of Bachchan co-produced and wrote the film Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Bachchan's New Bollywood was boosted by the fact that both of these films are a departure from standard Bollywood format. With her heartbreaking portrayal as the betrayed lover Paro of Devdas (2002) one of the most popular Bollywood films, and also one of the first films to be screened in the Cannes Film Festival Bachchan cemented herself as the new Queen of Bollywood. Following that the film, she was recognized for her performance in Chokher Bal (2003), an intense drama based off Rabindranathtagore's novel. In that same year she was also the sole Indian actress in the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan appeared in Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. That was when Bachchan added her star-power as well as beauty into her debut major English-language film. Prior to releasing Provoked: A True Story 2006 in English the actress returned to Bollywood for a role in Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash film). In April 2007 she married Abhishek Bachchan who is a frequent co-star and the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that brought together two of India's greatest people.
