Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor throughout his career. Most famously, he is popular for the roles he performed in "Law & the Special Victims Unit". From the time he was at college Christopher Meloni has always been attracted to the world of acting. He went to study acting at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he's appeared on film and television however it is his roles on the small screen that earned him a cult fans. There is no doubt that the actor has managed to grab people's attention with his characters that are either side of the legal system. His first project was a television serial, and later, he played a detective for the NYPD. Multiple times he was recognized for his work in the highly coveted Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. He is famous for his blue-piercing eyes, which have turned into the trademark of his character and has helped him portray tough characters with charisma. He was named on People's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
